Up to 2 grams of Vitamin C per day seems safe for adults and has no side effects. Doctor consultation is needed for diabetic adults or when in taking iron.

Symptoms and signs:
Blind spot in vision, blocked retinal blood vessels in the retina, blurred vision, eye floaters, fluctuating vision, gradual vision loss and impaired color vision.
Bleeding inside the eyes (Vitreous hemorrhage), detachment of the retina, pressure in the eyes (Glaucoma), severe vision loss, blindness
